This two day workshop will help you turn your idea for a show into a pilot script. A pilot is more than jokes  and action, it is about building a world that the viewer wants to keep watching. By working on a logline for  your project and giving you tips for how to turn that logline into a script, this class will cover basic  techniques for outlining, writing, revising and selling your show. We will also discuss tone, characters and how to edit your idea to get the most out of your script. Participants should come with an idea for a show that they want to develop. You can catch her live at the Back Fence PDX: MAINSTAGE show on November 21.

Joey Slamon is a writer who has worked on several television comedies, including Arrested Development and the upcoming Those Who Can’t for TruTV.
